The Simpsons, TV's longest-running American sitcom, is on tap for at least three more seasons, The New York Post reports.

"The cast is signed for three more years, so I would now say it's about a 90 percent chance we'll come back for at least one of those three," Al Jean, the show's executive producer, said. "I actually think it's better than a 50 percent chance we'll do three more years of this at least."

At the moment, The Simpsons is tied with 20-season-long Gunsmoke, which also ran 20 years, as the longest-running scripted series, drama or comedy, ever.

Tim Burton is set to direct a live-action remake of the Disney Classic "Alice In Wonderland". The film will feature Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as The Mad Matter, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen and Crispin Glover as The Knave of Hearts.

Burton is using a combination of live action and performance-capture technology to tell the Lewis Carroll story.

As a youngin' I had my big wheels tricycle and a road hockey stick and I was in heaven. The children of today are afforded a luxury that I was not. Witness the enigma that is Kota the Triceratop. A 3 foot tall plush rideable dinosaur robot for children under 60 pounds. Kota wags his tail, opens and closes his mouth, wiggles his horns, makes dinosaur sounds and plays songs and sound effects for your child. U.B.B.M. (Unathorized Biography of Bob Marley)

Saw this video by Shaun Boothe (aka Rikoshay... or whatever he's calling himself now-a-days) over at 2dopeboyz and it's sick! He basically rhymes the artists bio over a beat sprinkled with their samples. I'm looking forward to next month: The Greatest, The Champ.

This is the second vid in a "year-long monthly tribute to 12 musical icons". Can you guess who he decided to start this series off with? If you guessed the most sampled man in rap, then score one for you! Watch it here.

That's PS

This is the band's third studio release (just dropped yesterday); the follow-up to Under The Iron Sea (2006). For those who don't know Keane, their first two albums can be described as emotionally-driven power ballads very comparable to Coldplay (ARGUABLY the best band on the planet so they're not in bad company).

For this outing, they've moved towards a more upbeat, dare-I-say-it, poppy sound with a little hint of electro in there that brings them somewhere in between Coldplay and The Killers. Established fans of the band: don't fear. You'll still hear them in there. This is a welcomed change. You can't always be listening to sad music. It's depressing.

I could go on and attempt to describe the songs for you, but I'm not going to do that. Just listen to it already. I've had this on repeat for about a week now and I'm loving it!

The Leaper bike is the brainchild of Barend Hemmes and came about when interior designed-by-trade was doodling in his office and combining corporate logos with motorcycles. He happened to notice how well Jaguar's leaping cat fit the frame of a motorcycle, and so enlisted the help of Polar Cycles in South Yorkshire to build it.

The bike is six feet long and cobbled together with parts from a 1,200cc Buell 97 S3 Thunderbolt that was bought off eBay. It can only reach speeds of 50 mph, but that makes it easier for bystanders to check out the meticulously sculpted fiberglass body that pay's tribute to Jaguar's official mascot.

The finished product is a pretty spectacular piece of rolling art, so we think its dynamic shortcomings can be forgiven.

This right here is some next level R'n'B with some international flare.

'Sexuality' is all about about sex, love-making and having that "grown man business" stamina to do it all night...slowly. Sebastian Tellier enlisted the assistance of some Daft Punk productions (Guy Manuel De Homem-Christo) to get this electro-synth sounding bit of multi-lingual Euro trash into some next level 80's ish.

If you know of a French pimp, he was probably a study of this dude. Don't get me wrong, there's some sensitivity here...a little mono-paced, but nonetheless pretty different and affable to the ears.

This guy lustfully sings to his women in a mellowed, breathy voice, over samples of women on the border of orgasms.

Hollywood star JOHNNY DEPP will reportedly pocket a staggering $59.2 million (£32 million) pay cheque for reprising his role as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW in a fourth installment of the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise.

The big-money deal will make Hollywood history as the highest up-front payment ever - overshadowing the $53.65 million (£29 million) Tom Hanks was offered to star in the forthcoming The Da Vinci Code sequel, Angels & Demons. But a movie insider insists Disney Studio bosses - who are behind the hugely successful franchise - would pay anything to keep Depp on their books.

The source tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "There's only one Johnny Depp. They simply cannot make another Pirates movie without Jack Sparrow. "The first three films have earned $2.7 billion (£1.46 billion) at the box office. It's no surprise that Disney executives want Jack back and they are willing to pay big bucks to get him."

However, it is unlikely Depp's co-stars Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley will return to star in another sequel. Knightley, who played Elizabeth Swann in the adventure trilogy recently said: "I think it was wonderful and an amazing opportunity and those films were just extraordinary and I was extremely lucky to be a part of them. But no. I think my pirating days may be over."

The Counter...Ed. 1

Things used to be much simpler for Mike Skinner. His biggest problems used to involve drinking too much brandy, holiday romances and dating celebrities.

Not any more. Now he's facing those nagging points of humanity that keep a bright mind unsettled at night – life, love, death and religion.

In many ways, Everything Is Borrowed is the culmination of the course that began on Never Went To Church. Skinner is no longer the scrawny wannabe looking for a Class A; he's concerned about the environment (Way Of The Dodo), saving us from despair (On The Edge Of A Cliff), charting his own path to enlightenment (Alleged Legends) and worrying about his immortal soul (Heaven For The Weather).

Thankfully, he's not become pompous; the album is still filled with trademark wit. It's just that he's looked into himself and found a depth that's lurked there from the start – remember the beautifully honest Weak Become Heroes? – but never really had a chance to surface.

It has now. The maturity of Everything… shines out of the hook-packed tunes and, though he still comes with flaws – the deeply weird stalker tune Never Give In and the disco brothers-in-arms nonsense of Sherry End could have both done with a lot more thought – the album shows that he genuinely is a star.

He still might not be able to rap or rhyme, but on this evidence, he may yet turn out to be 21st century Britain's very own Gil Scott-Heron
